All visitors must pay the Galapagos National Park Tax which is $100. dollars per person for visiting the park protected areas and $20. dollars per person transit card. The authorities will only accept cash. The cash $20 transit card is paid at the departure of the mainland airport, the $100 tax is paid upon arrival to the Galapagos airport. If the visitor is arrived on a private aircraft both fees are collected at the arriving airport in the Islands
A.P.A. advance provissioning allowance
The APA amount is used to cover expenses during the course of the charter in the Galapagos Islands such as: fuel, food, beverages, Galapagos National Park tax, Transit Card Tax, and other expenses not included in the Charter Fee. If there is a cancellation of the charter the APA is refundable. The crew manager of the yacht is responsible for accounting all APA expenses during the charter and the breakdown will be presented to the client a week after the end of the charter.
The normal daily schedule consists of a shore excursion right after breakfast, return aboard for lunch and perhaps a “siesta” before the afternoon shore excursion. After diner your naturalist guide will brief you on the islands to be visited the following day.
